Welcome to STAND UP STUDIOS, a disability-led media production company founded by Jack Binstead and Andrew Mills. Both founders have Osteogenesis Imperfecta and are passionate about promoting positive and accurate representation of disability in the media. This company was established with the aim to create authentic content that reflects the diverse experiences of people with disabilities and to provide a platform for disabled artists, writers, and performers to showcase their talents. Through our work, we aim to challenge and change the negative stereotypes and stigma surrounding disability and to create a more inclusive and accessible world. Our Founders

Jack Binstead

Jack Binstead is a multi-talented actor and former Team GB athlete. He is best known for his role as Rem Dogg in the popular BBC Comedy Series "Bad Education". With a passion for acting, writing, and comedy, Jack co-founded STAND UP STUDIOS alongside Andrew to explore his creative pursuits and to promote positive and accurate representation of disability in the media. Through his work, Jack has become an advocate for greater diversity and inclusivity in the entertainment industry, using his platform to challenge negative stereotypes and to promote a more authentic representation of people with disabilities. His commitment to this cause has earned him widespread recognition and admiration within the industry and beyond.

Andrew Mills

Andrew Mills is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the technology sector. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry through his innovative ideas and strategic planning. However, his true passion lies in the world of film making and content creation. With a desire to create authentic and empowering stories that showcase the diverse experiences of people with disabilities, he co-founded STAND UP STUDIOS alongside Jack. Through his entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision, Andrew is committed to making a positive impact on the media landscape and promoting more inclusive and representative storytelling.
